The HPA Alumni Association was established by 2016 HPA President Amir Soltani, with the goal of keeping HPA Alumni connected with each other and with current and future generations of UCSB pre-health students. Historically speaking, the HPA Alumni Association was also the first wide-scale effort made by any UCSB pre-health organization to establish a connected UCSB alumni network within the health care industry.
HPA hosts at least one major alumni event for its HPA Alumni Association members each year. In addition, alumni receive an annual HPA newsletter to keep them up to date with the progress HPA continues to make each year. Current HPA members have the benefit of being able to reach out and connect with successful HPA alumni, gaining insight from their experience as a pre-health students who have moved onto the health care profession.
